This Poem (and most of my Poems) are meant to be said aloud, as well as read in silence. I am also a songwriter, everything has rhythm and music.
A Little Woman
When things are the most desperate,
A Little Woman comes riding out of the night,
Where there was nothing but destruction,
Suddenly there is a tiny, tiny Light…
"Who is she?" you ask,
She is Eva, First Daughter of God,
"Who?"
The one you condemned to die.
"Why?"
She made a mistake,
"But surely that is no reason…"
It was enough for you,
To burn her at the stake.
Now she is the Light,
The fire could not consume her,
She died to save the world
And she lives to make it right.
